This was an innovative project to develop futuristic traffic calming with separated cycle lanes. Investigation, scheme design, and preparation of construction plans with 3D geometric design, stormwater design, lighting design, landscaping plans, contract documents, consultation, workshops, and specifications were required.

 

Economic evaluation with a funding application report, planning, and arborist reports for a resource consent were also produced. The overall project had a construction cost of $6million.

 

TES were required to assemble a multi-disciplinary team of Transportation Engineers, Planners, Structural Engineers, Lighting Engineers (in house), Urban Designers, and Landscape Architects to complete this project. Boffa Miskell were a key sub-consultant to TES for this project.
