TES completed scheme design and detailed design for raised midblock traffic signals on Broadway, at Teed Street (Newmarket). The design was high-profile with significant stakeholder involvement, due to pedestrianization of the area.

 

An extensive stakeholder consultation process was supported by TES. Thanks to a combined effort involving several contractors, the project was completed successfully in 2022 with TES performing MSQA.

 

The resulting raised midblock signals is a ‘Safe System’ solution that provides high amenity for pedestrians crossing a busy Arterial road.
