TES was commissioned to undertake the Detailed Design of a local intersection in Manurewa. The intersection had a history of crashes and a reasonable heavy vehicle presence.

The design centered around the installation of a new signalised intersection, dealing with challenges such as large powerpoles being located up against a live traffic lane, steep grade issues, and overhead powerlines.

The final design that was completed in 2023 came out tidy with new retaining walls and an innovative multi graded kerb protection structure on the south-eastern corner
