His safety projects have included speed management, vulnerable road users, high risk intersections, and high-risk corridors. He has also led teams designing multi-modal projects involving network optimisation, minor improvements, footpaths, cycling, transit lanes, local board initiatives, and bus infrastructure. His work has required consultation with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, elected representatives, colleagues, and peers. This has given him an extensive range of experience across the Auckland region working on numerous contracts for AT making him extremely familiar and aware of AT and Waka Kotahi requirements and standards.
