James has substantial experience in transportation and roading engineering, including the design and safety of roads, cycleways, and bus infrastructure. He manages a wide range of transportation projects through all stages from feasibility stage through to construction.

He is technically skilled at contract procurement and construction supervision.  Also, he manages sub-contractors responsible for undertaking pavement design, structural design, topographical surveys, planning assessments and assessments of environmental effects.
