Auckland Transport recently commissioned a new bi-directional cycleway, linking Victoria Street to other key cycleways in the city centre. It provides a safe, protected facility for cyclists and scooter riders, and a more accessible urban environment. The project was designed and built quickly and soon will connect to the CRL development. Also, it was a low-cost improvement utilising existing road space and completed after a routine reseal. TES undertook the initial investigation, scheme design, traffic modelling, traffic signal design, detailed design and construction supervision.
